Ugh, could of had a 6800 GT OC today had the kid I talked to yesterday at BestBuy given a crap. Walked in around 9 PM looking for ESPN 2k5 and wandered over to the video cards, talked to the rep and he told me they had three earlier that day. The kid I talked to yesterday said they weren't getting any shipments of the new cards for a while.
A Best Buy in my area has it in stock - for $399. Right now I'm in on the buy.com MSI 6800GT $415 Doom3 bundle, but there's no telling when those will come in. (I got 10% off - $25 - D3 = ~$320 for the card).
Are there any good Best Buy coupons out there to make this worth it?

I picked up a BFG9800GT-OC today at Best Buy... That means i'm returning my eVGA6800 and eVGA6800GT.. This card is way better than both of those..
Anyway, I walk into the Best Buy, and the guy goes "Uhh, no, those are hot cards we don't got em..".. I push for him to check the computer.. Computer says they got 2 in stock. He says computer is wrong and tells me to go away... Finally, I locate a pal of mine that works there, and he says "Let me do some digging".. He goes and mills around, talking to people, and finally finds someone that knows where they are.. These cards are high end, so they stashed em ABOVE the canopy, out of reach of the mortal shoppers, and he finds them.. He pulls out the ladder, rolls it over, grabs one, and goes "OMFG this card looks awesome"... LOL!
Best of all, this card *LIGHTS UP*!!!!! The board in it is blue, and theres LED's in the fans that are blue, and it looks BADARSE in your PC... Heres a picture - flash kinda ruined the lighting effects though, but man, this card is the best.. No warranty card in the box because its a lifetime warranty! LOL!

Oh, and forgot to add, this card is *HEAVY*, it weighs like 2lbs, has tons of copper in it, double fans, and a 1/8inch copper plate that sits on the chips with a massive copper heatpipe!

Even though the Best Buy site said it was out of stock, I called a couple of local branches and snagged the last one. Dude was nice enough to hold it for me while I split from work to grab it. $399 I almost fell victim to the price gouging on Ebay. I'll be installing Doom 3 tonight WOOOT!
BY the WAY Nowhere did I read that the thing has blue LEDs in it. That's friggin SWEET to match the rest of my lights, but it might piss someone off who is trying to stick to a certain color theme !
