No, the other cards I returned were crap eVGA brands.. I purchased 4 different cards last week to test them and decide which I wanted. Out of them all, only the BFG6800GT-OC was the one that measured up to my standards, and has a lifetime warranty to boot. The eVGA's were just sad, in both performance, overclocking - then their retarded 1 year warranty.

Not sure where you pulled that information out of.. Your ass?

No brainer: Go with the 6800GT.. ATI sucks.

Stop spreading misinformation. Your post is just plain wrong.

I can get my eVGA as high as a 6800 Ultra Extreme.. and it performs fine at those speeds (i keep it clocked lower than that, not much performance gain) Thats far from crap. The BFG performs better?? Too bad all the cards are based on the exact same reference model, use the same materials, and are often made in the same factory. There's also a pretty good consensus online that the BFG's, though overclocked a bit at stock, don't overclock quite as well as the rest of the cards.

Oh yeah and your comment about ATI just makes your post look even dumber. Last I checked, video cards that double the performance of the past generation (R300) don't suck. nVida may look a bit better right now, but "ATI sucks"... yeah right.

Yeah the $339 price really made this a different thread. Maybe if someone finds one for $338 they should start another thread too.

Yes it did. Obviously as people's opinions seem pretty different than in the other threads. I guess that 60 dollar difference skews the price/performance ratios in their eyes. God forbid a new thread is made to ask for people's opinions in light of this.

Anyhow, have fun playing forum police. Wouldn't want to clutter up your precious forums with these useless threads. So useless in fact that you had to click on it yet again to respond. Whatever.
