I just got my BFG 6800 GT today, I installed it with my highest level of excitement but it just doesn't work.
The fans move, the LED is on, and I made sure I connected the power supply, but it just doesn't send out any video signals.
Initially I thought the problem is with my LCD, but I tried my old CRT with the D-SUB connection and there is no signal either.
I called up BFG and they think it might be a BIOS issue, but I am already using the latest BIOS for my MSI K7N2 Delta-L. I have pretty much ruled out power as an issue because I run an Antec 550w and my previous card was a BFG 5950 Ultra which probably doesn't consume any less than the 6800 GT.
Does anyone have similar issues? Suggestions?
Thanks for anything.

I still need to test it out on another computer before I can make sure the card is a dud.

Try using a dedicated molex connection on the GT. I thought mine was DOA too, but turned out I couldn't have anything else plugged into that line.

I gave it a dedicated Molex.

I tried the card out on two computers.
It worked on an ASUS nForce2 but it didn't work on Gigabyte i865PE.
I guess it could be board issue, I hope MSI can provide me a BIOS solution.
Otherwise I might have to go ahead with my K8 upgrade plan earlier than I expected.

In light of the situation, I decided to hasten my Athlon64 upgrade plan and now I am a happy Athlon64 owner and the card really delivers nice performance too.
However while it fixed some problems it demonstrated new problems. Now I fear is the problem between the DVI port and my Apple LCD. It looks like my Apple LCD just isn't getting any signals from the DVI port running in DOS mode, so I can't even see my BIOS screen or anything before entering Windows.
I have long heard stories about people who can't see their POST screens when running the Apple LCD on the PC, looks like I am one of them now. I never had this problem with my Ti 4600 or 5950 U.
I hope to fix the situation by flashing the VGA BIOS, however I can't see anything under DOS.
Therefore, does anyone know of an utility that allows to flash your VGA BIOS in Windows?
Thanks for all the help.
