I want my computer to have three monitors, where each can have different content on different screens. I haven't picked out a motherboard for the new computer yet, but I know for sure I will be going with Conroe.

I currently have a bfg 6600gt oc card, which supports 2 dvi monitors. The problem is that I want 3 monitors, not just 2.

What do you guys suggest?

Maybe get another video card that has a single dvi?

Second video card.

Unless you wanna go Matrox.

Good luck with getting a second video card working though, as neither ATi or nVidia officially support that unless it's in SLI or CF :|

(BTW, it often works, just i got unlucky with my current system not allowing it :()

Well, I guess you could get another video card. That 6600gt should have a Component or S-video output. Maybe you could get a monitor that has component? I'm guessing you already have the third monitor and if that is the case, maybe you could just get a PCI vid card to drive the third monitor.

If I had a 2nd vid card, will I still be able to manage it in the nView settings? Assume the card is a nvidia
