Seems like it's just another automated tool to do what you should be doing anyway: checking the minimum and recommended requirements against you system specs.

These websites don't make any sense.

I passed but will have to play at a low resolution :(
Damn Ati 5850! ;)

That's NOT your video cards fault. I passed way high and can play at high settings...and I have an ATI 4870 1GB.

Here is my config:

* Antec Three Hundred Case
* Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P motherboard
* AMD Phenom II Quad Core 940 Black Edition - Stock cooling
* 8GB G-Skill PC2-6400
* XFX Radeon 4870 1GB
* Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB SATA II
* Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB SATAII
* Onboard LAN/HD Audio
* Logitech DiNovo Keyboard
* Logitech MX 518
* 2 X Yate Loon 120mm silent case fans
* 2 X Dell" S2309 W @ 1900 x 1080

I will be adding a Kingston V+ SSD 64GB drive specifically for this game, should help with load times!

Did you miss the wink in the smily face. It is dogging me because of my e5200 oced to 3.4 when it is asking for a quad, though I know the 3.4 is on the slower side but for most games including crysis it still rocks with the 5850. The bad part on all these sites is most of the time they don't take overclocked systems into account! :( On canyourunit website it says I fail even for min saying my system is slower than core2duo at 2.0! I don't trust these sites! ;) hehe

Yeah, me too (except 3.24Ghz with a 4890).
Yes! Your system meets the minimum requirements for Battlefield Bad Company 2.
It should run on your computer, but you may have to play at a low resolution and/or turn down visual settings for acceptable performance. To improve the experience, note that...
Your computer has a dual core processor. A quad core processor is recommended.

Unless it really uses multiple cores, I think an oc'd dual is going to be better than a low-end quad.

Yes! Your system meets the recommended requirements for Battlefield Bad Company 2.
It should run well on your computer at high visual settings.

Q6600, 8800GT, 4GB RAM, Win 7 x64. No OC on anything.

Sorry, Battlefield Bad Company 2 will not run on your computer.

* The Game-o-Meter detects that your processor does not have the required hardware features. It is likely that you would have to upgrade your entire computer to play Battlefield Bad Company 2.
* The Game-o-Meter detects that your have a single core processor and Battlefield Bad Company 2 requires at least a dual core processor to run. Depending on your system configuration, you would have to upgrade your processor or the entire computer.

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3700+
GPU: BFG GeForce 7800 GTX

Damn, anyone know if the Dual core limitation is true? Seems like overkill :D

Hoo boy. Time for some upgrades :awe: I'm fairly sure this game would make your computer sprout legs, put on it's hat and walk out the door.

The sad thing is that it'll still run Crysis. Though I am only playing at 1280x1024, it does fine on medium/ medium high until the alien part.

Probably is time for a new system, considering I built this one back in 2005.

Sorry, the Game-o-Meter estimates that the overall performance of your system is under the publisher’s minimum requirements.
Even though your computer has all the required hardware features the performance is estimated to be poor, even at the lowest possible visual settings.

* Insufficient processor performance is the most likely cause.
* Insufficient video card performance is the most likely cause.
