BF4 birds,fluff n other stuff

I've been playing BF4 for a few days in single player mode.
What the hell is all this stuff flying around in the air all the time?Flocks of birds,swirling bits of paper..all kinds of debris floating around etc
Is that some kind of a phys-x display or some developers idea of "reality"?
I think it looks cheesy,unnatural and fairly lame given the amount of rubbish they have conjured up to wizz around in the air.
The graphics otherwise are awesome,especially the other soldiers facial expressions and general "life likeness".
Can't say I like the guns much tho...the weapons in BF2 seem more accurate and easier to target:\
Multiplayer is awaiting my new R9 card.....

Most of the areas you go through appear to have been bombed / burned. Airborne litter is a fairly natural result of that.

No offense, but a lot of questions get missed/go unanswered in the main BF4 thread with all the banter that goes on it. There needs to be two BF4 threads. One for questions and the other for all the banter.
