BF3 Performance Issues - Thoughts?

Hi there. A good friend of mine is getting performance issues running BF3 at the lowest graphical settings, despite a computer that would seem adequate to me. I cannot give you all the details, and he wouldn't post himself, so here's what I know he is using:

g620 2.6ghz
9500gt
4gigs RAM
Win7 64bit

Can anyone say for sure that this game is unplayable with those specs? He has described his processor usage being at 100% during gameplay at all times. His OS and drivers are all up to date, and in fact the computer is relatively new (excluding the graphics card).

I read that the g620 has an onboard GPU. Does he need to disable this somehow to instruct the computer to use the 9500gt?

9500GT is half a 9600GT, which is the same speed as the G80 8800 GTS that came out in 2006. It's gonna be unplayable with that.

Here, this should be telling:

A Radeon 4670 gets 25 FPS on low, and the 9500GT is around half the speed of the 4670, as you see here:

He's gonna need to spend ~$150 to get at least a 6850/6870.
