BF3 on PC / gtx 580 compared to PS3: which version to get?

That was funny. How anyone could actually get their panties in a bind over that, I don't know.
 
they are not comparable, one is singleplayer, the other multi, ill reserve judgement till i see both multiplayer versions compared.
 
i like the comments saying PC games are so buggy that console is the way to go. funny... i could have sworn just about every console game i pick up, just a couple days after launch, there's a new patch to fix bugs....

The ironic thing about Q&A for consoles. Once consoles were internet capable the Q&A for the final product dropped in quality. Now the developer can put out a product not fully tested for consoles and patch it post release. The internet is supposed to be a great thing for consoles. The end result is a lowering quality of many games at release.

I believe you mean QA (Quality Assurance) rather than Q&A. Unless asking the console questions somehow makes the software better 🙂

And I only mention this as a pet peeve as I work in QA 🙂
 
Really, it all comes down to Keyboard and Mouse support for me. Though if the PS3 version contained Move I might be persuaded - even with those subpar graphics.😉
 
I'm getting back into PC gaming in a week or so after many years of being a strictly console user. Thinking of making BF3 one of my first PC gaming buys. Problem is, I'm so used to the 360 controller, I honestly dont know if I could play a game like BF3 with a keyboard and mouse.
