I can't seem to get over 11-18fps no matter what settings I use. Even if I switch everything to the lowest settings, I'm getting the same FPS as if I use high.
I'm using a Core2Quad Q6600 @ 3.2GHz with a Radeon 4890.
Hmmm... my windows has been getting a lot of weird errors.
Is there any way to repair windows 7 like how you were able to repair XP? That was like the best feature of XP EVAR.
I had a 4890 with a Q9400 @ 3ghz at 16x10. I was averaging 20-40 fps on low everything, no AA, and 8AF. It wasn't up to snuff for me, so I had to bite the bullet and upgrade to a 6950. Now I'm happy with my frame rates(50-70) with a mixture of High/Med/LowAA/16AF.
Use to have an i5-2400 at 3.7 and a 4870 1gb at 840/1050. Playing at 1680/1050 on 64 player outdoor maps with everything on low i was getting 25-45 fps. For me it was just outside of playable.
Welps, I ended up doing a clean install of windows after a failed repair install attempt(it would bluescreen upon bootup).
It seemed to do the trick. 1920x1200 @ high settings is buttery smooth
Granted, I am only playing single player so far.
I think my graphics system might've been screwed up when I ran drivercleaner a while back. It gave me a few headaches that kept me from starting catalyst control center.
