I know I suck, so lets just start there. It's my first effort at the BF games and I'm liking is, but not my frame rates.
i'm getting like 35fps average...which I don't think is so good.
I tried taking everything down to low and I'm only able to get it up to like 45fps. (FRAPS).
I have a newish vid card, that is just a place holder until something great (new fab process chip) from either nVidia or ATI.
My guess is that I'm processor bound? I generally play at 1920 x 1080, but taking it down into the 1200 range still gives me an average of like 45fps.
What should I do? New Proc/mobo first or graphics card?
