I am really used to the consle in cs series and when im on the consle im able to check my fps and change it. Can u do that on BF2?? If you can How?
 
Press ~. You knew that huh? rendererdrawfps 1. i cant find my notes at this second thats from memory. Seems fraps will give you less fps than the consoul command. Planetbattleside would be a good place to look. That just displayes it, dosnt change a thing to my knowledge. If I'm remereming the command right.
