Hello,
I feel that I have tried everything, except reloading the operating system. I have disabled all of my anti-virius background programs and reinstalled the game, still nothing. I can not get past the BF logo start page. I also even loaded the Nvidia drivers on the BF2 disk and still no luck. The only 2 things that I think would be....

1. Disabling my firewall(but I don't see why this would be preventing me from starting the game.) or....

2. My video card is a 6600GT AGP. The read me notes states that this card is not on there list of supported video cards. I hope this is not the case. The demo worked fine with my 6600GT AGP.

Any suggestions, Please help.....

Thanks!

i don't have the full game yet so i can't help muchl. it might be better to post in software or tech support.

How exactly do I do that? Is it in a specific folder? I found a BFMC folder that has a "BLINK VIDEO" application in it. Is that the one I should disable or delete?

Just a thought.......did you use a completely uninstall your old drivers and use a driver removal utility such as Driver Cleaner 3.3?
If so, maybe try reinstalling BF2

Also it could be overheating. Ive read many posts about BF2 making video cards run into the 80's.
