BF2 Question

Ok, sometimes when I start playing BF2 and just after I get into a game my computer freezes. I have a fast enough video card, eVGA 256-A8-N344-AX Geforce 6800GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Video Card, and 1.5 GB of RAM. And its not overheating because it happens only sometimes when I first start my computer up. It never does it when I play for a long period of time?

Any one else experiencing this or anything like it? Any comments?

I had simalar problems with 1 gig. Going to 2 solved it for me. Is it just 1 server? Could it be your internet connection? If you can end all unessary services/ close any programs in your system tray and see if that helpes. If it does then its a resource issue. I'm suprised with a gig and a half that you have this issue. You might also watch your hard drive when you get the stutter. If its running then its most likely a resource issue.
