BF2 question..if u have bf2 please look

once you click the BF2 shortcut on ur desktop how long does it take till the ea logo appears?. I feel like mine takes a while. i say about 30 seconds or so. I click it goes black..i wait i wait ..then it goes 'ea games blah blah". it didnt take that long before could it be cuz i recently bumped all the settings to high on vid card? or is this just nomal?
 
If you Optical drive has no issues reading other CDs, then it could be your BF2 CD. As the previous posters stated, try using a mini-image and use Daemon tools.
 
You can also remove the EA, DICE and the BF2 intro movies if you want.
Just go into the "Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Movies" directory and move all of the files there to a different folder.
I made a temp folder and moved all of the movies there.
