I can't figure this out.... the game looks great, right?

There it looks fine but the problem is that it doesn't always look like that... for some reason the quality of the game gets messed up at times. The game looks very blurry and fuzzy sometimes...

Seems to happen when I play other games or restart (but only sometimes)

To fix this I need to re-install drivers or keep turning settings on and off untill it reigsters...

I had the problem on the ATI drivers, uninstalled, installed the Omega ones and that fixed it temporarily but now it's back........

I need this to be gone for good, and solutions?

What you are describing sounds like a hardware problem, not a software one.

If you have any spare power supplies or video cards, I would look into testing those to see if you can replicate the problem.

my other computer has either pci or apg card and the powersupply is way to weak for this...

It's also a 4 year old dell so I don't want to mess with it anyway

I don't understand this though... if no settings are changed at all how can something randomly get messed up, then fixed by re-setting to the same settings, then messed up randomly..

It realy puzzles me..

and which drivers are you using again? What is your monitor's native resolution? What res are you using for BF2? What exact PSU do you have?

Dont like GRAW? I love it. Best looking FPS avilable on PC IMO.

Friendly AI is lacking, but who needs em anyway?

Man, you should head on over to the Ubi GRAW forums. Most everyone left already but still some VERY pissed off people hang out there. The AI is awful, the FOV is awful, and the MP is kinda barebones. I haven't played in about a month and a half...Beat the game 2x 1nce on normal and once on the highest difficulty. It was an exercise in patience...Again, the AI is atrocious for both friendlys (complete morons) or the psychic enemy AI with laser like pistol accuracy...

oh c'mon it's not that bad;) i think the game looks great with the help of this TweakGuide, i also hate the AA fiasco though and "Edge Smoothing" isn't much of a solution for no AA.

I don't care how texturized and lighted something is, I will not give up AA in a modern PC game. That is simply stupid. How long has AA been around? How well does it increase image quality? And they thought it was going to be an okay idea to just disable it entirely, only to make a pathetic pacifier called "Edge Smoothing" while slapping on some reduced-frame physics.....

Yeah...great game.....
