bf2 isnt working properly

Dell Inspiron XPS
1 GB RAM
256 MB ATI Mobility Radeon 9800 graphics card
3.4GHz Pentium 4 processor

other games like COD and rainbow 6 3 work fine, but on bf2 i only get like 2 or 3 FPS even with the settings on low. it lags on single player also. i have cable i dont understand what the problem is. any help? thanks in advance

so everything else works fine? are you useing the newest drivers? Catalyst 5.9 i believe... thats the only thing i can think of if everything else runs fine.

Try dropping to an older graphics driver. I've found that sometimes helps. Newer isn't alway better.
