Howdy Folks,

I went through several headaches before finally getting BF2 to run smoothly in SLI & without a ton of CTDs. I probably tried a total of 4 different drivers over a period of 12 months without success.

That is until this weekend, when I tried it again with the 197.45 drivers. I played for about 2 hours last night with only 1 CTD, where previously I would've had at least 10-15.

Just thought I'd share in case anyone else went through a similar experience.

This is for Rig 2.

You probably have tried this already, but setting your PCIE speed to 105 or 110 can often help stability immensely for SLI cards if you have a issue with CTDs. I would try 105 first, and 110 if 105 doesnt do much. Beyond 110 and you are asking for trouble.

That Sir has 'miffed' me - I use to run a FX-55, A8N-SLI MB, 6600Gt's in SLI, back in 1995, when BF2 came out - it ran perfectly. Odd, you are having issue 5 years later.. unless you are meaning BFBC2?
