BF2: I keep getting PunkBuster warnings and then get kicked!

I have a legit copy, updated with the latest patch, and PB enabled, yet I constantly get kicked. WTF?

The latest patch for either the game or pb could be your problem.

Lot of the servers don't run up to date ones until they get fixed.

Yup, it's the Servers not running the latest version of PB.

Latest patch has done nothing but fark the game. Roll it back.

Have you tried Updating PunkBuster?

Place in your BF2/pb folder and run it from there

The problem is he is updated, but the Server(s) are not.

Latest patch had a memory leak, so most servers are still running at the old version. I had the same problem before and reinstalled today :thumbsup:

yup, even the official ea site tells you to uninstall to the old version.

Suit yourself. EA/DICE are working on hotfixes for the memory leak/myriad of other problems the 1.01 update introduced.

So far so good. Lots of servers still running the patch. I'm hoping they'll release another patch soon.

Sounds like BF1942 .. patch 1.61a and 1.61b .. a was screwed and everyone was running different versions (so couldnt play together) for like 2 weeks lol.. thankfully like 3 days after 1.61b there was a "patch switcher" to easily alternate between either patch at your will..
