BF2: I cant get into a game, when i hit join it says connecting then goes right back to server list.

I have tried rebooting, 20 different servers with and without PB/etc, and even the quick start.

I dont cheat so its not that, i was playing 2 hours ago fine...

Any thoughts?

Did you attempt rebooting your router/modem, 'repairing' your connection?

 

I did that and even called comcrap and they did it again from their side. Released and renewed etc...

However, i just did a system restore to yesterday and guess what? It works now after 2 hours of frustration. Maybe i got a virus....

Hope this helps someone and ill post if AVG comes up with something....

Interesting, I guess something with the registry if you had to do a restore.

I say that because the BF2 demo apparently corrupted my registry yesterday, forcing me to go through a tedious hour-long manual restore.

I dunno what happened, maybe the gf was downloading pr0n again.
