BF2, goes directly to a server when game starts?

Ok, just got this game, patched it to the latest 1.41 and the newly released PB patch and when I start game, then get logged in, the game goes directly to some internet Multiplayer game server instead of into main menu.

I can play the game, and even the online Multiplayer game it takes me too if it happens to have someone on it and is to my liking, but I have to esc/disconnect from the current game and get back to the main menu to make choices normally.

I do still have the origional BF2 Demo game on this computer and maybe that is messing me up? Game is a blast to play however

Yeah, that explains pretty much how silly I feel but I thought "play online now" just ment online Multiplayer mode and not a direct link to some random internet game server, umm..hehe.

I clicked on that Play Online Now icon once and never again when I first got it. It took me almost 2-3 times as long for the game to load.

Yeah, that button sucks. It connects you to a random server. 95% of the time the server is empty
