BF2 GOES BACK TO WINDOWS SCREEN..........

I don't know if this question was already answered but I still want to know if you guys playing BF2 has the same problem like mine. Whenever I play the game online for a couple of hours, the game suddenly freezes and then goes back to the windows screen. I found a website on one of the game servers claiming they have a patch to fix this problem but I guess they changed their server name or the name of the website. It used to be tpdon99.com or org or hktpdon99, this website I believe was from hongkong. Any website you know that has a patch to fix this problem? Your help is much appreciated....
 
only patch i know of is the official 1.03 patch that you can get from EA.
check the www.totalbf2.com forums. they have a section specifically for problems like yours.
i haven't heard of this problem, but thats probably your best bet.
 
Are you talking about Battlefront 2 or Battlefield 2? A lot of people are having problems with Battlefront 2 and there is no fix yet.

good question, i assumed he meant battlefield 2.

battlefront 2 should be written as SW:BF2

Sorry I didn't know that there was a game Battlefront2. I'm talking about the Battlefield2 because I know some people have this kind of problem and I forgot their website. Anyways, I'll check the totalbf2 again. Thanks for your suggestion Pontifex.

I have the same problem. I first experienced it after I installed some maps. But then again mine is a back up copy.
