BF2 error - Likely problem no cd crack

After some googling, it seems that my no cd crack is the issue. I do not have the first disc anymore though. I have the CD version of BF2, that came in three discs. I made all three, into on DVD, because I hate swapping out cds for installs. Ive lost my first disc, the one I need to play. So I installed it from the DVD, and applied a no cd crack. Now I get that error, and I cant play more than 5 mins. The DVD I installed it from, doesnt work as the disc it wants.

Aside from registering on some BF2 forum, is there anything I can do to get around this? Yes I have the game, the box, and the manual still. The only thing Im missing is the first cd.

Sweet, thanks. Seems to have worked, started the game anyways. Didnt try to play it yet.

Guess I spoke too soon. Same error. Not only this, but the Special Forces pack, Euro force and Armored Fury that I paid for (yeas ago), and download from EA's download manager wont install. All I want to do is play the game I spent close to $100 on. Ugh, this first disc is screwing me over.

edit, it seems (duh) I need my original .exe back. I knew I shouldnt have deleted it. ARG. Guess Ill reinstall it.

You could just buy it again. Last time I looked it could be found for $10 or less. Maybe even get a used copy.

Yes, I did. It worked fine after that, played for an hour or so yesterday. Thanks to all.

dude just listen to me and use the mini-image. cracks and modified exe's are detected by punkbuster.
