BF2 Crashing I don't know why

After about 5-15 minutes of game play the game freezes and I have to reboot my computer. When it freezes I get a black screen then a little bit of the scenery from the game but very sketchy looking. System rig is in my sig.

My first guess would be overheating or power supply problem. Does your computer freeze on any other game?

What kind of video card do you have?

are you overclocking your video card? BF2 doesn't play well with my card when it's overclocked. Every other game and tests run fine, but BF2 crashes out.

So if I have OCed video card, the game will crash?

This game has been crashing on me every since the first patch. The game in retail state, without patches, never crashed on me. Sometimes it'll play nice for an hour or so before it crashes, sometimes it'll crash in the firs ten minutes. It crashes to desktop and not a system crash.

I guess I an try playing without the GTX OCed. not like I would need it OCed for the game, but it's such a hassle having to reduce settings just because of this game. I'll try it this morning when I get home from work
