BF2 Crashes to Desktop with new Dell 2407

Anyideas ? I tried some command line options, but to no avail. completely stumped

Need more details. What has changed since it did not crash? Model of monitor? Drivers? Resolution? Settings? Refresh rate? At what exact point does it crash?

Or just do a fresh install, update, then add command to shortcut, then play.

I had BF2 issues :( i couldn't figure out but then i just end up formating my whole computer. I reinstalled it and it worked perfectly...

trying to get it to work at 1920x1200 @ 60HZ.

so far I was able to getit to work at 1600x1200 60Hz, but want to getit to work in Native resolution.

Try forcing the shortcut to display the resolution.

Example:

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +szx 1920 +szy 1200

Something like that.

tried that, didnt work, crashed. It works for 1600x1200 but nothing higher....

update videocard drivers
update bios
update doundcard drivers
update BF2,

if nothing works

reinstall bf2

delete the .con files and set the res in command line.
If its still not loading uninstall BF2 and and only do a full patch don't do the incremental patches.

anyone know how to uninstall Bf2 and keep your controller settigns etc ?
