ok i wasn't sure what forum to post in, but its games so i guess video is good.

anyway, i have windows server 2k3 SP1

BF2 doesn't support sever 2k3, and this rly sux, my question is, is there anyway to get BF2 to run under 2k3? i've tried google but no success.

With my BF1942 problem. In Easyinmfo for BF192, under system requirements where is shows if ur specs meet the requirments, it says i have directx 6, while i am sure i don't, as i installed 9.0c, and then under processor speed it claims i have a -2230MHz proc! Yup thats right it says i have a negative clockspeed ??!?!?!!?!?!?! Any ideas?

MY system is in sig

NOTE: All other games work fine, like farcry, halo, MOH😛A, and more

Well I am not sure about the BF2 problem, have you just tried running it? If so and it didn't work what kinds of errors do you get?

As for the BF1942 deal, I wouldn't pay too much attention to what EAsyinfo tells you. I just checked it out on my rig and it told me that I have a -1892MHz CPU, when my opty 144 is running at 2.4GHz. It also said I have a generic microsoft plug and play monitor with a max resolution of 1600X1200. I am actually running a dell 2405@1920X1200. BF42 should run completely maxed out on frames with your rig.

Hmmmm.

Ye i tried to run BF2, it doesn't give any errors, just goes to a black screen for like 4 sec, then just closes to the desktop.

And as for BF1942, it should run, but nothing happens, all i see when i run it is the mouse cursor gets that loading time sandglass for a few sec, then it goes bk to normal cursor, and nothing opens.

I've had task manager opened once to c if the .exe is even getting started, and it is, only the procces just goes away after a few sec

How about you try to run the games with the program compatibility wizard.
Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\Program Compatibility Wizard.

See if that works.

Or perhaps try playing games on a consumer level OS that supports gaming such as Windows XP.

Windows Server 2003 is a server. Not a gaming OS.
