BF2 1.3 Patch - a little more efficient?

has anybody else noticed that the bf2 1.3 patch seems to make the game a little more efficient? it seems to have dropped ram usage down by ~30MB or so..... which is nice when you are getting close to the limit of what you have.

haven't has any of those. actually 1.3 feels like the best parch yet, but they f*cked up the in-game browser....

Seems fine. On a related note has anyone noticed the size of their BF2 folder? Mines like 8GB!!! For an online only game.... wow...... thats not so efficient.

I've crashed more times in the last two weeks than I have in the 7 or 8 previous months of playing the game. I very much dislike 1.3. I don't think the additions are worth the instability it seems to have added. Co-op is useless and the vehicle drops haven't really proven to be all that terribly useful, either.

I havent played 1.3 yet, but I usually adjust to w/e i think will get me more kills/pts. Iam usually a SF on the ground maps and if i see my squad needs a medic i'll play medic. Alot of the time if i see some people keep attacking the same damn flag, I'll go sniper and camp out adjacent from that location, and just rack up the kills. I prefer smaller ground maps with about 28 players or so. I like it that way cause its kept personal, y'know for example you kill a guy in one bldg, and he meets you back, kills you, you come back but this time in a heli, etc. The big maps are fun as well but are shallow and get redudant fast.
