BF1942: Quit changing my resolution!

I am getting sick of this. My bro and I use my computer and I set up an winxp account for him. The desktop resolution is set at 1152x864, BF1942 is set at 800x600. Everytime my bro plays under his winxp name, BF1942 changes the systems resolution to 800x600. Is their any way to prevent BF1942 from doing this? I'm seriously getting sick of having to change the resolution back to 1152x864 everytime I get on the computer. thanks

Set bf1942 to 1152x864.

doesn't do that for me, maybe its your vid driver or something else thats messed up, generally games don't affects ytem resolution.

hmm, odd. it does it everytime. i'm using an OCZ Titan Geforce3 (just an overclocked geforce3) with the regular nvidia drivers. everytime my bro exits bf1942 on his account, it changes the desktop resolution to 800x600

if i could set bf1942 to 1152x864 i would, but it plays choppy so that isn't an option.
