BF1942 Players - What up with no main base invasions?

Seriously, what up? Seems like each server I join is gay about main base, or permenant base invasions. There's a difference between base camping and running in and kicking ass.

What do you guys think?
 
BF1942 is my favorite game.. i hate basecampers. running in and kicking @ss is the same as camping. stayingin therre and killing whoever spawns is just cheap. partly shows that u don't have the skillz to take us down in the field
 
There aren't any rules to break unless you are hacking, tell them they got themselves in the situation by sucking at videogames. There are lot's of crybabies who don't like to lose, but pulling back in the name of making the round fun for all would just be good sportsmanship. With halfway decent players who know how to switch classes and an uncap-able base most teams should be able to fight off spawn campers, sometimes there is just no hope.

Irreguardless of the game design, it is their server. They can require everyone to move by jumping backwards if they feel like it; go to another server if you're unhappy.
 
Yeah, if its the server admin giving you the lecture then go somewhere else. I was talking along the lines of public ones like EA and Nvidia.

most servers i play on dont allow base camping unless all other spawnpoints have been taken...lets just say that the last spawn point is d-day all over again

you are wrong, sir! usage dicates grammar, not the other way around. while irregardless may have been improper grammar when it was first introduced, through common usage it has become a real word to mean the same thing as regardless.

I'm currently banned on about three dozen Tribes servers for baseraping, both base and Shifter mod.

Would anyone care to tell me how exactly I'm "baseraping" when I'm in light armour?

Damn straight.. so many times in T2 I've been the lone defender of that stuff, only to get bitched at when i get killed by 5 invaders and our flag's taken. 😛 People don't like playing defense so they whine when people use offense! 😛

While it may be accepted in some casual circles, it is, regardless of the context, improper. Not only that, he spelled it wrong, too. 😉

I love to invade bases and jump into one of their tanks taking them out. I worked hard to get there so I'm gonna sit there till I'm killed.
 
I hate base rapping in T2, especially heavies in Kabatic. Anyway, I hate campers on BF1942 when they get on your ship. The thing that pisses me off most about DC is that the Iraqi humvee (I guess) can travel in 300 feet deep water as if it were land.
