BF1942 not showing up on screen correctly

I just built my new PC and after installing all the drivers, I fired up BF1942 to see what it would look like. Sadly, the monitor went into auto-adjust when the program loaded and then the picture was broken up into pieces. Everything went back to normal once I closed the program...

Is this a monitor issue or what?
