BF1942: Brightness Problem

Hi,

Worth a shot asking here since I'm sure some of you play BF. Recently bought the BF1942: Anthology pack. My problem is, the game is way too dark and I need a way to adjust the brightness / gamma correction but there seems to be no option for that in the video settings.

I have a Radeon 9600 256mb card, running Catalyst 4.5 drivers (newest) and DirectX9.0b.

Just as an aside, I also have Unreal2k4, and I had to adjust the brightness in that game as well, but there is a slider for it within the game. Wondering why BF1942 doesn't have a similar feature. Is there a way to modify a text file or something to increase brightness? Monitor brightness is maxed and it's still too dark...

First of all, welcome to the best game...EVER!

Sadly, BF does not have an in game brightness adjust....no idea why...EA is getting real cheap these days.

A simple fix for your problem, since you have an ATI card is to go into your advanced display properties, click the color tab, and set a hotkey for brightness for full screen 3d.
