BF1 BETA how do I play it?

Do I need to buy BF1 first? I don't have any codes. It's 31st today and I should be able to play it but I don't see BF1 BETA popping up on my origin? What do I need to do? I am in the UK if that helps.
 
The beta is free & it showed up in Origin this morning. After launching the beta, a message appeared indicating the latest Crimson drivers are required for AMD cards.
 
I don't think it'll show up in "My Games" in Origin. Click the "Store" button and then go Home and you should see it on the front page.

As for system requirements, a simple search shows you:

I had a heck of a time actually joining a server last night. Kept getting a no connection to server error, or something along those lines anyway. I did manage to get in to 1 game for a little bit.

Yea, the EA servers were getting DDOS'd. They are still a bit broken today, though not as much as last night.

FYI, there is another thread about BF1 general discussion.
