BF: BC2 Vietnam Expansion only MP?

Steam has posted the game expansion on my account today for $14.99 pre-order.
The expansion won't be released until Dec the 21 I think.
It looks like the expansion is available only in Multiplayer and no SP?
The trailer looks pretty awesome though.
