BF:2, Euroforce

not sure if it's worth the $10.

We get 4 new maps. And, um, that's it lol.

PROs

I tried it earlier, and the maps really push my crappy rig to the limit, lol. The new tanks are pretty awesome. The other one (not the challenger, forgot what's it called) recieves almost zero damage going over any terrain. It's easier to move-and-shoot W/ that tank.

The Eurofighter Typhoon is a piece of sh!t jet lol. It's slow, it responds slowly, and probably has the widest turning radius of all the BF2 jets. I
f there's a custom map out there that pits the J10 against the Eurofighter, the Eurofighter has no chance in hell.

I found it difficult to land the plane, grr, and the plane seems a bit unstable when I strafe the ground (compared to the F-35, and the J-10).

the new FAMAS for the medic is friggin overpowered lol. I love it, hahaha. Best Medic Gun, too bad we can't use it in other maps.

I wish we can use the Euroforce guns in the other maps, ah well.

The maps reminds me a lot of the older BF1942/Desert Combat maps for some reason...

There's a CRAPLOAD of tanks. Two of the maps is a total tank to tank war. That part was pretty fun, and, unfortunately, the only saving grace of this booster.

Great Wall is a great groundpounder map, since well, there's no helis/jets in that map. (good! since if there was, China will win all the time, because J-10 will absolutely own the slow, and slow turning eurofighter).

CONs

Can't use the new guns in other maps. boo. (the FAMAS for medics is just simply awesome)

There's a few map bugs I've found. I got stuck a lot in the Greatwall map. That was pretty annoying. I couldn't move close to any of the map's features like small walls and columns, because I'd get stuck (not pernamently, had to jump and prone to get out). The falling leaves part looks pretty cool though...

Not nearly enough content for the price. They recycled the biuldings in the maps from other maps. That part was stupid. You can recognize most of the biuldings, since they were exact replicas.

Europe gets the F-15 as the bomber-jet.. err. ok. When I FIRST heard of Euroforce, I was half expecting the Harrier, or the Mirage fighters to come out, but nope. Just the eurofighter. The Heli didn't seem to provide anything new. Then again, I can't really tell performance btwn heli's in this game, heh.

Worth 10 bucks? probably not, considering other games like UT2K4 and Steam offer free continious updates and free official map packs.

And EA gives us BF2 w/ a $30 small expansion pack, and $10 booster packs, that are all buggy @ launch. And we can't even seamlessly switch btwn SF and regular BF2 maps. That's stupid. In BF1942, one server could play both the expansion and older maps.

The amount of content given in the new maps is really sad. Recycled biulding models, over different sky/terrain. That's about it.

Overall, the whole BF2 is a awesome game, but horribly implemented, and too pricey to get the full BF2 experience. friggin EA...

If you already own BF2, and is tired of the older maps, I suppose you can get it. I don't think it's worth it, but for the "premium" they charge for "quality entertainment," I suppose it's your choice to get that premium, lol.

Maybe they should've released this when the game launched, arg. If you want one more exclusive ground-pounding map, or an exclusive tank vs tank war, then go for it.

Agreed. The main thing that I don't like is that the game has only been out going on 9 months, and it already costs $90 for the complete experience (i.e. maps, guns, etc.). It's really rediculous what EA is doing to the industry, but there's nothing I can do about it but bitch 🙁.

How many expansion packs did Everquest and The Sims have again? Hell, the Sims 2 has been out for only a year and a half, and it has 3 or 4 already, right? All of those go for $30 a pop if I'm not mistaken.
