beyond reasonable of doubt and beyond benefit of doubt which is more certain?

this is for a court trial situation.
one is used for determining whether there is cause for a trial while the other is for determing whether the acused is guilty or not.

anyone ?
thanks

There is no beyond the benifite of doubt. YOu as the defendant have the benifite of doubt in your corner. The prosecution has to prove beyond reasonable doubt that something has happened inorder to gain a conviction

The phrases would be: reasonable doubt and beyond reasonable doubt.

Reasonable doubt definition.

The defendent would have the benefit of the doubt in trial -- ie, s/he would be presumed innocent until the prosecution could prove him/her guilty *beyond reasonable doubt*.
