I have a 4 computer network with all boxes running XP Pro. One is a dedicated server. I have Simplified File & Printer Sharing enabled. They are connected via a router/switch with a DSL internet connection. Most boxes have USB printers attached which we share. The last computer to make the switch from 98SE to XP is giving me problems. We are unable to reliably access its resources. Occasionally we can, but mostly not. Yesterday I had a MSCE stop by and try to fix the problem. We tried a different NIC, we tried different cables, we tried different IRQ's and we tried setting up user accounts on the unit and setting permissions. Nothing worked. Today I 'repaired' the XP installation which also did not fix it. The mobo is an Asus TUSL2-C. The other units have Asus boards as well - two CUSL2-C's and a P2B-DS for the server. I am at the point now where I am either going to nuke the hard drive and do a fresh install OR replace the motherboard. Does anybody have any suggestions? (I've already tried margaritas.)

TIA!
