Beware Zotac GTX460s - potential fire safety hazard

I'm not saying that this happens to everyone, but the fact that it has happened, should cause you to take note, if you are running Zotac cards.

I've always avoided Zotac products. I've always associated them as cheap crap.

I have three of these cards running either Folding@home or BOINC 24/7 since December 2010 without any issues. I hope it was a 1 in a million problem or that it was a SLI-issue ...

I'm wondering if it was an overclock gone wrong...so much heat build-up, that the fan failed to compensate and eventually the card "melted"
