Either it is a stolen card, or if it is a legit card he'll dispute charges. How could he lose any money in Paypal, Bidpay, etc, that he couldn't lose if you charged his card directly?

Yeah, it can. This is how the scam works.

You get this email and agree to it. The guy gives you his CC number and you charge it. You ship the item out to him, then two weeks later, you get a call from the credit card company. Seems the card was stolen, so they're taking the money back. They take the cash, and you're out an expensive item.

This is why you never ever EVER ship high cost items out of North America.

sure you ship stuff out internationally, just gotta know what to look for. This case is obviously a stolen cc, thats why he doesnt wanna use any of the online services (paypal wouldnt cost him anything). Stay away

LOL anyone wanting you to ship your item to Asia or any other country is always going to be a scam. Unless they win your auction and pay with a MONEY ORDER then it's probably a scam.
