I have heard from my neighbors they are good for things other than electronics, that they have received obvious refurbs as well.

Still, a company that sends unadvertised used merchandise cannot be trusted with my sheets either.

What if those sheets are plunder from Saddam's palace, woven in an Isreali slave labor camp DP?

Hahahahaha! I don't care where they were made or by whom, they are heavenly 😀 Down pillows and a pillow top mattress complete my Kingly repose. I have demoed the memory foam "sleep system' and it ain't even close! I have no doubt they are doing shady stuff though, if they dick me over I will wash my hand sof them as well. In fact, as you are a bud, if you would like me to boycott them just say so and I will :beer:

I've bought stuff from them before with no problems, but never electronics. Thanks for the heads up. Most of their electronics are overpriced anyway considering it's refurbed. The Rio Cali 128MB for $59.99 + $5.99 for 2 yr warranty looked tempting, but I passed and got the 512MB Muvo TX deal from Dell instead.

Another day goes by, my return still not processed. By from Overstock.com, share my fate?
 
i ordered a digital camera from them a couple years ago, it was fine. after seeing this and their resellers rating tho, never again.
 
Bought quite a few items from overstock with absolutely no problems, including bedding, electronics and even a diamond pendant. Again, no problems. Their return policy sucks, as they'll charge you a restocking fee no matter what, but I consider that a minor inconvenience.

What people don't understand is that items from Overstock are ALL refurbished. Don't expect to get something brand new, unopened, etc., but in general, what you're getting is exactly like what you'd find in the store.

The diamond pendant I got for my fiancee is exactly the same one I saw at the local jewelers, yet it was literally half the price. Can't beat that.
 
I recently had a horrible experience with Overstock.com. The long story short is that if something goes wrong with your order, their customer service system falls apart.
