I just got the 19" KDS monitor I ordered. Unfortunately, this monitor is clearly used. The box was really beat up and had been opened and resealed. There is an extra plactic packing slip container on the box which had been opened. There are advertisements on the exterior of the box for included software which was not there. The documentation had obviously been used. I thought selling used goods as new was illegal. Anyway, I was pretty hot when I called them and they offered to exchange it. I'm going to look it over carefully before I decide to keep it or not. Unfortunately, an exchange would be a giant PITA and I think if I exchange it my $80+ ecs (shopping portal) rebate will be screwed up. I know that is the last business they will ever get from me. Anyone else have problems with these ripoff artists?

not to mention there high prices... the only thing they are good for is that 20% off deal going around... I don't even think anyone has received their rebates though

Well, they've done the same thing to me with a CD burner. The shrinkwrap had been removed and the packing material inside re-inserted upside down. As a result, the drive was banging around freely inside the box during shipping. It works okay so I never bothered to fight them over it. Your problem is clearly more involved...not very practical to return a monitor due to the weight. If you do decide to return it, you should insist that they pay the shipping charges. If they refuse (which I sincerely doubt), simply dispute the charge with your credit card company on the grounds of misrepresentation.

I received a new KDS monitor a month ago -- the software was not present in the box, even though there was a sticker on the outside.

Remember: Computers4Sure doesn't have their own warehouse. Computers4Sure is probably unaware that the warehouse shipped out used merchnadise.
