So Option

A. $200 you can cool your 12 oz Soda to 45F in 3 min (33F in 4 Min)

B. $300 you can cool your 12 oz Soda to 45F in 1.5 Min (33F in 2 Min)


If you had to buy one which would you buy?

I have enough patience to put it in the fridge and wait for a few hours. Actually, I don't drink anything with nasty amounts of sugar or carbonation, so I don't have this problem.

Neither. I'd put it in the freezer and wait. If you had a gun at my head, and were forcing me, I'd take the cheapest option.
