I am gonna buy a new system end of this month. But still confuse whether to take 81GX or 81EXP. The first one use Intel 845E, and the 2nd one use 845G. On most of the review sites, gigabyte 81EXP is always the editor choice. But if we see the specs, 845E only support DDR2100, whereas 845G support PC2700. Consider the speed, 845G is the winner. But why there were many sites out there recommend Gigabyte 81EXP, is it because of the peripheral on board?
Is it true that we can o/c the memory in 845E become 333MHZ (PC2700), if its true. Can anyone point me the link?
I notice that there is 81EX type, does that mean gigabyte will launch 81GXP around this time, end of this month maybe? Anyone knows about this?
