Yet another first Lady of a former President who outlived her husband finally dieing. Maybe point granted, Betty Ford struggled with alcohol problems, but more importantly she overcame those problems.

Even as a somewhat partisan democrat, its difficult for me to summon up any reason to dislike Betty Ford, as she is just now another woman who made the planet a little better during her life and even after her death.

So I for one say, rest in peace Betty Ford, you left a positive legacy. And left behind a family and children who loved you. And if I am not mistaken, the Betty Ford Center is still up and running and still helps so many others.

Huh... for some reason when I read that I thought "Betty White" which made me sad. Then I clicked the link and I realized my error, and I felt a sense of relief. And then I immediately felt bad because I realized I was smiling while staring at a page saying "BETTY FORD DEAD AT 93"

I need to go to the corner and think about what I've done.
