Better to overclock core or memory? What is quincunx?

2 questions:

1. Is it better to overclock the core or the memory? Which gives better overall speed improvement?

2. What's the difference in quality and speed of quincunx versus 4x for a geforce fx card?

1. Generally memory will help the most which kinda sucks cuz it's usually the GPU that overclocks the easiest. A little of both won't hurt.

2. Quincux is a bit faster but won't look *quite* as good.
