Never realized so many full length movies i.e. drama, mystery, crime, suspense, comedy, and thrillers were available FREE on...YouTube.

This was quite the trend back in the 40's, 50's and 60's to make these drama, thriller, and ding batty comedies.
Many of which we never heard of, still are actually quite good.
And YouTube has them all, well almost all.

I especially like the films where actors like Edward G Robinson played the meek mild clueless little man in the street. Quite out of character from his typical hard criminal roles.
One of his films on YouTube:
Scarlet Street 1945 Edward G Robinson. Full movie via YouTube.
A meek mild desk clerk that sidelines as an amateur artist, married to a hen-picking old bitty of a wife, then unexpectedly taken in by a no good floozy of a woman and her (unbeknownst to Robinson) boyfriend/partner in crime. A must see if you haven't already. Again, FREE on YouTube.

Then for those Star Trek fans, ever wonder what Willian Shatner was up to before flying around where no man dare go before? How about instigating race riots.
The Intruder 1962. Willian Shatner. Full Movie on YouTube.

Or, how about a crook sent to his just dues in prison, and determined to break out to take revenge on the detective that put him there.
Another good crime thriller with none other than Joseph Cotten.
Killer On The Loose 1956. Joseph Cotten. Full movie Free on Youtube.

And then we have a very young Hayley Mills in her 1959 British themed thriller.
Playing a reckless tom-boy that is just a little to inquisitive for her own good.
Especially when she witnesses a murder, then befriends the killer and his gun.
Tiger Bay 1959. Hayley Mills. On YouTube in all its B&W glory.

And some other FREE full length YouTube movie-greats out there that I came across, that I had myself never heard of or seen before.
Just do a search on YouTube.

Pinky 1949
Man In The Attic 1953
(Jack Palace and Aunt Bee before her Mayberry skit)
Intruder in the Dust 1949 Claude Jarman Jr (Boy befriends the town outcast, a black man)
A Hatful of Rain 1957 (drug addiction vs family)
Lost Boundaries 1949 (Intense drama. true story)
Nothing But A Man 1964
High School Hellcats 1958
(sweet new girl in town vs the not so sweet girls)
(this was one of my favorites. corny, lame, yet fun to watch)

This is just the start of my list.
I have some 40 more classic films free on youtube to still check out that I had never heard of or seen before.
Some of these old classic b&w films on YouTube are pretty bad, others not so bad, and many are actually well worth it.
I especially like the race-themed films from the 50's and 60's.
And that William Shatner film, The Intruder 1962 I would recommend as a must-see.

Especially with the current state of things in society today, and with our current season of politics.

PS.
Should add one more.
The Whisperers 1967 The incredible Edith Evans
