Better than prime95

I normally use OCCT nowadays, the 30 minute stability test is all it takes to have your system 99% stable, instead of it being guaranteed 100% stable for 10 hours of Prime, which is good enough for me.

Me too. While tweaking we have to launch 2 x Primes and set the affinity for each core. It's boring after a while.

This makes things easier. Thanks for sharing anyway.

Use 3d mark series and a few minutes of a CPU intensive game, and that may test your rig more than prime in terms of stability.

whats the difference between this and the original Sp2004?
the CPU stress test? don't most people only use the 'blend' test to test for stability anyways?

The difference is that with this one you don't have to run two instances, if you have a dual-core.

That's different, if you want to know if your CPU is stable, this tool is one of the best/easiest ways to do it.

If you can pass several hours of this (usually overnight is enough and its simple), then your CPU is pretty much going to be able to be ruled out as a cause for instability when trouble shooting.
