i just got my Antec P180 today and its dead silent for all but my cpu cooler.... all i can hear now is that squirel cage spinning.... when i got it, it was quieter than what i had and dropped my idle temps over 10*F... i thought that was pretty good since i was using a Vantec Aerocool on an Athlon 2000+... now i got my Gigabyte 3dRocket on my A64 3000+ and i would like it to be quieter.... ive read that it is as supposed 61db(a) but that seems a lot louder than it is.

i dont wanna go watercooling since im a cheapbastard but i dont want a 6k rpm 120mm fan either. right now sitting at idle im at 37*C and i would like to drop that by a few degrees if possible so any suggestions will be looked at... thanks
 
yeah... thats what i thought... 61 is loud enough to make you have to kinda yell to talk. i think its more in the mid-high 30's range.....
