We’re lucky.
Since we don’t have to worry whether we can meet our basic needs, we have tons of time and energy to deepen our closest relationships, observe and learn about our amazing world, develop our interests and talents, and figure out which mission of lasting significance we’re meant to fulfill.

be less busy and more fulfilled.

Like reading/writing in ATOT :p

I was busy as hell the last couple of days, but yesterday was all worth it. You do you, I like to get things done.
We got the abutment blocks in for a farm bridge over a creek. Later I'll set the beams, bolt them down, block, and deck.
I'll come back in a few years and build a roof over it for a custom covered bridge/deck over the creek.

It's just the old yarn about being productive vs being busy.

I don't mind a day packed end to end with actual meaningful stuff that progresses my life goals and satisfaction.

I do mind days packed with bullshit make work or something hoisted onto me against my will (typically sister in law bullshit issues).

Productivity makes downtime far more rewarding, so much so that even on my days off 10am (or earlier) - 2pm are specifically earmarked for getting important me stuff done.
