I recently picaked up a linksys WRT310N and am not geting the extended range I thought I should be getting. I'm thinking it could be due to one of three things...does this router suck? heh...or maybe I'm not sure how to change my laptop from G to N? (was running on G before...does it change automatically?) or maybe the same interference that has always plagued this house with everything from wireless internet to our cordless phones/cell phones is not allowing the router to reach the distance it should?
On a side question...one of my laptops (running a wireless G card that is probably 4+ years old) cannot connect to this router when I have it password protected. It worked fine with my old one PW protected in the exact same way. Any ideas?
