Well, it appears to be that way. After updating my BIOS to version 3.3, I've noticed that I'm able to reach higher bus/memory speeds than what I have had in the past. Usually a 160MHz bus would either lock on boot or give instantaneous rounding errors in Prime95. Now, with the same memory timing settings in the BIOS, 160MHz FSB is no problem with my system. Here's a CPUID shot. Anyone else try out this new wonder BIOS? The MSI website doesn't even mention memory timing changes for this BIOS revision. I've noticed they leave out a lot of important detailed descriptions for their BIOSs.
