Better looking case than Antec P160?

His P160 suddenly makes my Raidmax A288USB look like crap by comparison, lol. That's a damn nice chassis.

Time to start keeping up with the Joneses! Any opinions on what should be my upgrade? Must be at least midtower size, no mATX as it will have to accomodate a dual cpu board.
 
The P160 is ugly IMO.
This is my list of best cases:

LOL. I like the A288. I got it about 3 years ago. I really liked the blue-tinted perspex on the faceplate, it looks really good in person.

All opinions appreciated, keep em comin
 
BTW, I'm realizing im partial to those cases that have matching drive bay stealth covers for optical/floppy drives like those found on the P160.

Did some searching today... wow, there are some REALLY butt ugly, overdone cases out there. 🙁

Sadly, most of those I find myself gravitating towards all are G5 knockoffs.

Damn him and his P160 foresight! :laugh:
 
I have the P160 and like it. The ovals in the front are not my favorite parts but it's not all that bad. It's a well designed case and I like the optical drive covers.

Lian Li v1000 or v2000 series of cases are really nice but they cost an arm and a leg.
 
Coolermaster ATC-2xx from http://www.sundialmicro.com . IMO, they put just about everything else on the wagon as far as looks go. And I think you can also get stealth covers from CM. SVC.com has a better price on the CM drive covers. Lacking a floppy cover, you can get FDs with a silver faceplate.

Vote for PC60 line...Nice, light, and cool cases. Removable motherboard and hard drive trays. And as always, very high quality.
 
Get the same case! I just set mine up and it was easy. I like the look of it and really like the controls and connectors at the very top of the case (great for when the case is on the floor below the desk). Also, I hate swing doors that some cases (like the p180 have).
 
Yea I kinda prefer doorless cases. So far here are my current front runners...

- Coolermaster ATC-200 series (kinda wish the acrylic was straight blue insead of that seagreen color)
- Coolermaster Wavemaster (not crazy about the door tho)
- Lian Li cases are always nice, and of course well built, but IMHO a bit too minimalist for what I'm going for...

Or I'll just get an Antec P160. 🙂

damn, i just got my p160. that p180 looks awesome! only thing that i dont like is that it doesnt have a window. i guess thats because they want to be able to insulate it to keep it really quiet. but thats a really really nice case. but i like my p160 too 🙂
and yea, that raidmax has got to go hehe.
get some uv reactive stuff and put a uv cathode tube and she will really be impressed.
 
The p180 looks to provide axcellent airflow within the case but the fron door provides for ZERO INTAKE! ***...did i miss something or is there really no front intake!
 
yes it has 2 intake fans, but not enough ventilation for fresh air to be pulled in. The most I see is the TINY little slots on the side of the huge solid door. Ide rather have the p160 with window
